Community and Public Health Nutrition
Our aim is to improve public health nutrition policy and practice. We are expanding knowledge on how the settings in which we live, work and play influence what we eat, and make healthy choices the easy choices at all stages of the life course.
Our Research
The Community and Public Health Nutrition Portfolio brings together the following programs of research:
- Advancing assessment of food intake, diet quality and obesity-related behaviours
- Developing novel, evidence-based child obesity prevention and nutrition promotion programs
- Settings based nutrition promotion for improving diet quality and chronic disease prevention across the lifespan
- Community based nutrition initiatives in disadvantaged communities
